Before co-founding MMonivation IP, she served as Head of Costa Rica’s Patent Office, Deputy Director of the Industrial Property Registry and Senior Associate at Consortium Legal. She leads regional filing strategies, complex prosecution and coordinated portfolio management for international clients and foreign counsel.

Before co-founding MMonivation IP, he advised European companies operating across Central America and the Caribbean for more than 17 years. He oversees the firm’s business strategy, budgeting and centralized client coordination, helping deliver consistent service across multiple jurisdictions.

A lawyer and notary with more than three decades of intellectual property experience. He served as Registrar and Coordinator in the Trademark Office and as Registrar in Costa Rica’s Copyright and Related Rights Office. His practice focuses on trademark prosecution, copyright, oppositions, appeals and recordals, supported by extensive international training in intellectual property.

He previously served as a registrar in El Salvador’s Intellectual Property Office and as a member of the Administrative Appeals Court of the National Registry Centre. He advises on complex trademark and copyright matters, administrative proceedings and strategic protection of IP rights.
